Departments

1. Educational Department

The department is represented by the Head Teacher, Club Coordinator and teachers. Its purpose is to design and develop the school curriculum as well as monitor and assess the educational yearly cycle, taking care, at the same time, of the personal and professional development needs of teacher and auxiliary staff.

The department includes the following activities:

  • Plans, adapts and improves the learning and teaching strategies and methods to the age, needs and dynamics of each class;
  • Designs, monitors and assesses the club curriculum corresponding to each academic year;
  • Communicates to parents on educational-related matters;
  • Structures and implements the training system;
  • Constantly assesses teacher and student performance;
  • Devises and monitors the implementation of the school’s educational procedures and policies;
  • Ensures a steady supply of high quality teaching resources;
  • Plans, implements and assesses school educational projects and community events;
  • Ensures at all times the necessary legal documentation and keeps in touch with the corresponding authorities.

 

2. Administrative and Financial Department

The department is represented by the Financial and Administrative Manager, Office Manager, and administrative staff (medical, transportation, cleaning, building administration). Its purpose is to provide administrative, financial and logistical support for the efficient running of all departments, as well as financial information to ensure budgeting, cost control and business analysis.

The department includes the following activities:

Administrative:

  • Ensures the maintenance, cleanliness and security of the facilities: buildings, yard, parking lot, playgrounds etc.;
  • Handles procurement and provides the logistic support necessary to ensure the smooth running of school activities (including events, shows and clubs): transport, catering, supplies;
  • Establishes and maintains an efficient office management strategy  and coordinates the implementation administrative procedures;
  • Sends out periodical information to parents and staff regarding medical or administrative matters;
  • Works closely with the financial department to keep & update the HR records;
  • Obtains and updates all legal authorizations necessary for the proper and legal functioning of the educational process;
  • Maintains the communication with the corresponding state authorities and institutions.

Financial:

  • Estimates, monitors and adjusts the school budget;
  • Creates the financial packages and handles the financial offers;
  • Is responsible for the cash-flow and cost control of the organization;
  • Covers most aspects of Human Resources, managing employees’ compensation and salaries;
  • Communicates to staff and parents on financial-related matters;
  • Makes sure that the payment policies in place for customers and suppliers are respected;
  • Provides information for efficient business analysis in order to assist management in making strategic decisions;
  • Ensures at all times the necessary legal documentation and keeps in touch with the corresponding authorities.

 

3. Communication Department

The department is represented by the Communication Coordinator, IT responsible and Web Designer and Developer. Its purpose is to assure an efficient, coherent and valuable internal and external communication for all the stakeholders.

The department includes the following activities:

  • Coordinates all the internal and external communication activities;
  • Constantly communicates with all departments, offering feedback and solutions for improvement of team cohesion;
  • Plans, implements and monitors school visits, events and partnerships with other organisations;
  • Devises and monitors the implementation of the school’s communication policies;
  • Ensures that all departments and classrooms have the necessary equipment for the ICT activities;
  • Handles customer care, keeps in touch with parents directly or online via the Newsletter and other virtual channels;
  • Monitors, assesses and updates social media (blog, website), coordinating all projects related to that;
  • Monitors and assesses the communication plans and promotional campaigns results  (social media, media relations, online marketing, blog, website);
  • Constantly works on brand awareness and enhancement, ensuring that all the materials are brand aligned;
  • Monitors competition, organisational results and its interaction with various stakeholders, offering input for adjustment or improvement of business strategy.
