During our latest service learning study visit to Sarajevo, which took place between November 28th – December 3rd, our team had the opportunity to attend workshops and presentations focused on best practices and strategies for implementing service learning projects. We were able to work with teachers from Romania and other countries, sharing our experiences and learning from each other.

One of the highlights of the trip was our visit to Mostar Secondary School, where we were able to observe the implementation of service learning projects in the classroom. We were impressed by the dedication and commitment of the teachers and students, and were able to learn valuable lessons about how to engage students in meaningful service activities.

Another highlight of the trip was our visit to Sentivo Care Home, where we had the chance to see the impact of service learning on the residents. We were moved by the kindness and compassion of the staff, and were grateful for the opportunity to learn from their experiences.

Overall, our team was proud and grateful to have been awarded the National Award for Service Learning Efficient Practice 2022, and we are committed to continuing to take our service learning efforts to the next level. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from our colleagues in Sarajevo and to share our own experiences with them
