Team—owning financial strategy, bank reporting, and the systems that keep our school thriving and growing.
What you’ll do
Financial strategy & planning
• Build multi-year financial plans aligned to enrolment, capex, fees, scholarships.
• Run scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, cash-flow runway and reserves policy.
Budgeting & performance
• Lead the annual budget cycle; manage monthly rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
• Own management KPIs (tuition collection, ageing & DSO, staffing ratios, cost per pupil, capex).
Banking & treasury
• Manage banking relationships, liquidity, payments approval flows and cash pooling.
• Prepare covenant packs (monthly/quarterly), DSCR/ICR tests, capex tracking, drawdowns,
compliance certificates—always on time.
Statutory & tax (Romania)
• Ensure accurate statutory accounts under Romanian GAAP (OMFP 1802/2014 sau 3103/2017, după
caz).
• Coordinate audits/financial reviews; interface with auditors and authorities.
• Oversee ANAF declarații (D112, D394, D300/D301, D390, D100/D101), SAF-T (D406), e-Factura/e
Transport (dacă aplică), impozite locale, taxe și contribuții.

Controls, risk & policy
• Strengthen the control environment: approvals matrix, procurement policy, asset register, cash
handling/tuition collection, scholarship/bursary controls, fraud prevention.
• Ensure GDPR (Reg. 2016/679) & Legea 190/2018 compliance in finance workflows; support
ARACIP/BSO/COBIS evidence on the finance area.
Fees, billing & collections
• Set the annual fees calendar; supervise invoicing, discounts, scholarships and credit notes.
• Drive collections with clear, respectful parent communication protocols.
Grants, funding & capex
• Track restricted funds/sponsorships.
• Manage investment projects (procurement, contracts, CAPEX/ROI, lifecycle costing).
Systems & reporting (Engage & Kinderpedia)
• Own Engage for finance: chart of accounts, integrations, data quality, dashboards.
• Leverage Kinderpedia (attendance/activities/parent comms) to improve billing and evidence for
after-school/SLCs.
• Deliver timely management packs (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs) to CEO/Board in English &
Romanian.
Payroll & HR interface
• Oversee payroll accuracy, benefits and Codul muncii compliance; coordinate with HR on
ReviSal/REGES; budget staffing and substitutes.
Contracts & vendors
• Negotiate key supplier contracts; monitor SLAs/value-for-money; ensure legal/financial compliance
of services used by students.
Team leadership
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team; build a service-oriented, data-driven culture; plan
succession.

What you bring
• Degree in Finance/Accounting; ACCA/CECCAR (or equivalent) preferred.
• 7–10+ years progressive finance experience, including leadership of a finance function
(education/services or multi-site is a plus).
• Proven track record in bank reporting, lending covenants, and treasury.
• Deep knowledge of Romanian GAAP & tax, ANAF workflows, audits; IFRS exposure is a plus.
• Systems-savvy with Engage (preferred) and MIS/ERP integrations; Kinderpedia familiarity is an
advantage.
• Advanced Excel/BI; excellent English & Romanian; high integrity and clear stakeholder
communication.
