We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Music Teacher who will bring energy, passion, and expertise in UK curriculum music education to our growing team.
About the Role
The Music Teacher will inspire students through engaging lessons that develop musical knowledge, instrumental skills, and performance confidence. This role covers primary and lower secondary levels, integrating both practical and theoretical aspects of music, aligned with the British National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and inspiring music lessons in line with the UK curriculum standards.

Foster a love of music and creativity through singing, instruments, and performance-based activities.

Prepare students for internal and external music performances and events.

Collaborate with teaching colleagues to integrate music into cross-curricular projects.

Assess and report on student progress, ensuring individual development is tracked effectively.

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:

Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field.

Proven teaching experience within a British or international curriculum school.

Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).

Strong classroom management, enthusiasm, and creativity.

Currently based in Romania (relocation is not offered for this position).
Desirable:

Experience working with both primary and lower secondary students.

Familiarity with performance coordination, choirs, or musical productions.

Knowledge of instrumental teaching and digital music tools (GarageBand, Sibelius, etc.).

Additional qualifications or certifications in education (PGCE, QTS, etc.) are an advantage.
