About the Role
The Primary Art Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art lessons that inspire creativity and curiosity in our primary students. The role involves developing students’ artistic skills, aesthetic appreciation, and confidence in expressing ideas visually, while embedding Questfield’s core values in every activity.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality art lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and philosophy.

Encourage creativity, experimentation, and self-expression among students.

Organise art exhibitions, displays, and creative projects within the school community.

Assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into cross-curricular themes.

Maintain a safe, inspiring, and resourceful art classroom.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field.

Proven experience in teaching Art to primary students (ages 5–11).

Excellent command of Romanian language (spoken & written).

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Currently based in Bucharest or Ilfov (relocation is not offered for this position).
Desirable:

Fluency in English.

Familiarity with British or international curricula.

Experience integrating digital tools or modern art techniques into lessons.
