Overview
A Questfield education is more than classwork. It’s meaningful debates in the cozy corners with friends, drama productions, sports competitions, assemblies, community service, outings to museums, trips and campfires —and much more.
Through extracurricular activities, you’ll meet new people, pursue your interests (or discover new ones), and enrich your understanding of the world and the people in it.

Trips & Outings

School trips are organised for all year groups not only to support their learning but also as an aid to personal development. These experiences enable pupils to spend time intelligently and happily, sharing experiences with others.
At Questfield, trips and outings are organised regularly, usually every 6 weeks or corresponding to certain Service Learning projects or learning units.
Pupils can derive considerable educational benefit from taking part in trips. They may undergo experiences not available in the classroom; visits help to develop a pupil’s investigative skills and encourage greater independence and resilience. They also provide pupils with knowledge and awareness of the world around them and encourage personal and social development.
Enhancement Programmes
Questfield offers every school year a wide range of extracurricular activities to choose from. Every beginning of September, we organise on our campus a Clubs’ Fair to provide parents and students with a real opportunity to interact directly with the specialised teachers, ask questions and try some of the activities offered.
Registrations are accepted as termly commitments on a first come – first served basis. The principles of offering clubs at school are bringing some of the best providers on the market to reduce parents` travel times to or from such activities and covering as many interest areas as possible for our students and preschoolers.
For the current academic year, some of the Clubs included in our afterschool programme are: Krav Maga, Chess, Robotics, Video&Content Creator, Science, Drama, Debate, Modern Dance, Ballet, Basketball, Fencing, Cooking and many more.

Assemblies

Once every two weeks, students in Primary and Secondary gather to celebrate success, share ideas, meet guests and enjoy the feeling of togetherness. School Assemblies are events 100% coordinated by students, where their ideas and opinions are heard, noted and valued.
Our school Assemblies are a mixture of five basic ingredients:
- Supporting school curriculum by being built around a related theme;
- Being filled with valuable messages and lessons;
- Encouraging variety of expression (through music, dance, arts, drama, stand-up comedy, presentations);
- Inviting personalities to speak according to children’s interests;
- Celebrating students` success both academically and on a personal development level by validating the idea that we expect progress, not perfection.
Student-Led Conferences
The Leadership practices throughout the school are very visible and can be found in almost any aspect of learning at Questfield. Two times during the academic year, students and preschoolers starting at 4 years old have the opportunity to fully prepare and deliver a presentation of their goals, achievements and aspirations in front of their parents / carers and Teacher. It is a moment to recognise their progress and congratulate them on their courage and self-expression skills, which start being built very early.

Big Brother Programme

The Big Brother programme is an innovative, student-led programme that makes it possible for younger students to be taught by their older peers. Students from upper grades are mentored by their teachers and prepare for these sessions to include as many elements as possible for an outstanding lesson, from introduction of new concepts, to assessment techniques and creating feedback opportunities.
Drama
Drama is an integral part of the curriculum at Questfield, being taught weekly starting with Year 1 / Prep Grade by a specialised Drama Teacher. As a curriculum subject, it gives students a practical knowledge of how drama works as an art form and helps children think about the ‘who, why, where, and when’ elements of stories, events and everyday experiences, while enabling them to develop a creative perspective on life and giving them freedom of expression.

Student Shows

Our traditional end-of-year shows provide a great opportunity for students to showcase their skills and talents in Music, Drama, to take pride in their fluency of spoken English and to practice working through anxiety (stage fright), for them to be seen at their creative best. Questfield summer shows are a strengths-based way of building community.
Events
Questfield students are involved and exposed to various events during the school year, which promote a great sense of belonging and cultivate their awareness of being part of the same diverse community.

Cozy Corners

One of our school’s core values is balance and our commitment is to make everything around the students feel balanced: from curriculum, schedule, attitudes and even their learning environment. We are all working closely, students, teachers and parents, to provide as many cozy corners as possible in the classrooms, hallways, cafeteria and library areas. This is only to enhance our learners` feeling of being in a home-like environment, safe and open to sharing and caring for one another.
Outdoor Learning
Studies show that outdoor learning delivers many benefits — reducing stress, improving moods, boosting concentration, and increasing a child’s engagement at school.
We strive to enhance our campus with as many outdoor learning opportunities as possible, to create exhilarating, fun and, overall, inspirational learning experiences.
