GL Progress Tests Results – June 2023

Key Stage 2 – Overall Achievements:

  • English (PTE Overall): 98% of students are at or above level
  • Maths (PTM): 94.74% of students are at or above level
  • Science (PTS): 95.45% of students are at or above level

Key Stage 3 – Exceptional Outcomes:

  • English (PTE Overall): 96% of students are at or above level
  • Maths (PTM): 100% of students are at or above level
  • Science (PTS): 100% of students are at or above level

Target Setting and Achievements (2022 – 2023):

  • Remarkable progress across all key stages with over 70% of students meeting or exceeding their target levels in English, Maths, Romanian, and Science.
  • Notable mention: 93% achievement rate in KS2 Maths and 92% in KS2 Science.

Romanian National Evaluation – 2023 Success Stories:

  • Grade II, Grade IV and Grade VI students: 100% at or above the expected level.
  • Grade VIII students are preparing diligently for their upcoming Romanian National Evaluation in June 2024, marking a significant milestone in Questfield’s history.

Extracurricular Triumphs:

  • 3rd place in the 2023 Mathletics Competition (Small Primaries Category).
  • Five Year 7 students advancing to the second stage of the UKMT (the British Mathematical Olympiad).
  • Grand Prize victory for our School’s Drama Team at the Dramaland Festival in Cluj-Napoca, May 2023.
  • Over 100 students excelled in the national Comper competitions for Maths and Romanian.

Romanian National Evaluation – 2024 Success Stories:

  • Grade II, Grade IV and Grade VI students: 100% at or above the expected level.
  • Grade VIII students achieved an average score of 8.15 in the Romanian National Evaluation in June 2024

  • Drama team “Artfield” – first place for “Best Performance” and “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” – at the 21st National English Theater Festival for Students, “Come with Us to Dramaland Competition” (Cluj)
  • Our football team was victorious against another international school (score 9-1)
