At Questfield
I have been part of the Questfield International College teaching community since 2019. As a Class Teacher, I play a central role in guiding children through the primary years, a stage I regard as critical not only for academic development, but also for building confidence, character, and a genuine love of learning. Over the years at Questfield, I have built strong, trust-based relationships with my students and their families, while actively contributing to the cohesion and educational culture of our class community.
My approach
I believe that effective teaching begins with truly knowing the children in your care, understanding not only where they are academically, but who they are as individuals. My background in language, counselling, and pedagogy has shaped a teaching philosophy that is both rigorous and deeply human. I draw on counselling principles to approach classroom dynamics with empathy and attentiveness, and I use my language expertise to support children in expressing themselves with clarity and confidence. I am committed to creating a learning environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and safe to grow. Education, for me, is not simply the transfer of knowledge; it is the building of a relationship between a teacher and a child that makes genuine development possible.
