Qualifications
Internationally qualified teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (UK) and a BSc in Geography and Environment (UK), bringing over ten years of experience in international education across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Experienced in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), the British National Curriculum, and the Cambridge curriculum, with a strong commitment to supporting diverse learners in multicultural and inclusive learning environments.
At Questfield
I am joining Questfield International College this academic year as a Year 5 Class Teacher. Drawing on my diverse international experience and strong commitment to student well-being, I strive to foster both academic achievement and the social and emotional development of every learner. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning while ensuring that all students feel safe, supported, confident, and empowered to reach their full potential.
My approach
My classroom is a safe and inclusive space where students feel valued, respected, and comfortable expressing themselves without worrying about being laughed at, no matter what questions they ask or ideas they share. I enjoy creating interactive lessons with plenty of activities that encourage students to observe, question, and investigate. Our learning time is filled with interactive dialogue, collaboration, and positive encouragement between both teacher and students, as well as among peers while working together on tasks. I believe that positive feedback plays an essential role in helping students build confidence, self-esteem, and motivation to learn.
Beyond the classroom
In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places and discovering hidden corners of the city or wandering through Bucharest’s parks in search of a cosy spot to enjoy a good book.
