My name is Elena Sanda Ho. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a focus on Management. I recently moved from Dubai to join Quesfield International College as the Human Resources Manager. In Dubai, I gained diverse experience working in various industries, including the hotel and airline industries. However, my most significant and rewarding experience was at GEMS Founders School, a British curriculum school. I played a key role in setting up the school from scratch, and it successfully opened in 2016. Today, the school has more than 6,000 students and 679 employees. I was also appointed as the Cluster HR Manager, where I successfully helped open seven additional schools. I appointed and trained HR managers and assistants to manage these schools. At GFS, I guided the school through several British Schools Overseas (BSO) and local inspections, all of which were successful and received outstanding ratings. My passion lies in people management. I love recruiting and providing opportunities for individuals, and I take great pleasure in seeing them succeed and become excellent human beings. I enjoy training people and sharing the knowledge I have gained. It gives me immense satisfaction to see those I have trained grow and develop. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, meditation, traveling, and reading.
