Honourable Bachelor’s degree (Netherlands) with 25 years of International School experience across China (Shanghai), South Korea (Jeju) and Thailand (Bangkok).

At Questfield
I will join Questfield International College this upcoming school year as an IGSE and A-level art teacher overseeing the art department in collaboration with Music and Drama. It is my aim to make every student feel at home in our school, and especially in the Art class.
My approach
I have loved and practised art all my life, and made it my quest to share my passion with all of my students around the world, and now, starting this year, with my students at Questfield International College. Art should never be a competition, as every student has his/her own style, but a road to develop and perfect this style and feel comfortable with it on a daily basis. This requires a lot of practice and some serious reflection and introspection. Then it becomes a well-being factor and helps you to become and stay mentally stable and healthy.
Beyond the classroom
Besides painting and drawing in the open air, I find peace and pleasure in pottery on the wheel, walking and hiking in nature and swimming in the sea. I love to read literature and write my diary every day. Every morning before work like to meditate to relax my senses, getting ready for work.
