Qualifications
I hold an iPGCE from the University of Derby and bring 15 years of international teaching experience at Questfield International College. Working within both Kindergarten and Primary has given me a unique perspective on how children grow, allowing me to bring a broad range of expertise to my current classroom.

At Questfield
My journey with Questfield International College began in 2011, fresh from university, as a Year 1 teaching assistant. Fifteen years later, I am proud to still be part of this community, now serving as a Primary Form Tutor and the Primary Subject Leader for English. I also have the privilege of mentoring our new staff, sharing the experience and passion for teaching that I’ve developed here over the years.
My approach
If you walked into my classroom, you would see a vibrant, collaborative space where learning is a shared journey and curiosity is at the heart of everything we do. I believe that children learn best when they are given agency, which is why my students take ownership of their work, from developing their own “driving questions” to choosing the digital tools and real-life objects that bring their ideas to life. My classroom is a place where we celebrate the process of discovery, emphasising that perseverance and teamwork are just as important as the final result. Ultimately, I believe in creating a nurturing environment with high expectations, where every child feels confident enough to take risks, seek feedback, and exceed their own potential.
Beyond the classroom
Outside of school, I’m all about quality time with my family and making memories with my friends. I absolutely love a good road trip; there’s nothing quite like hitting the open road with a great playlist! When I’m at home, you’ll usually find me curled up with a book. I’ve always been a huge reader, and I love getting lost in a new story whenever I get the chance.
