Qualifications
Paul holds a Bachelor of Business in Economics and Finance (Sydney, Australia), an Executive MBA (Sydney, Australia), a Master’s in Project Management (Sydney, Australia), and a PGCEI (Nottingham, UK). Paul has 15 years international teaching experience in Malaysia, Australia and Romania and has taught across multiple international high school curricula, including Cambridge IGCSE, A Levels, International Baccalaureate, and also served as a University Lecturer.
At Questfield
I will be joining Questfield International College in August 2026 as a Head of Service Learning Pillar and a specialist in A Levels Economics and Business Studies. In addition, I will be part of the Special Forces Team to work directly with students who are interested in participating in some amazing co-curricular activities, such as the Model United Nations and the Duke of Edinburgh. I am also excited to be involved in the student Internship programmes for 2026/7 and beyond.
My approach
Working with students who are 16 -19 years old offers a variety of challenges, both from an academic and pastoral perspective. Therefore, I take a holistic approach that combines critical thinking, analytical skills that mirror the requirements of the prescribed international syllabus and developing a practical understanding of global issues that impact our daily lives. I aim to prepare students for life after school by building confidence, communication, and decision-making skills. I also work closely with parents to ensure that a transparent framework exists where we can openly discuss both the successes and challenges that each individual student will face. I have worked with hundreds of families and over a thousand students during my High School teaching career as well as guiding my own children through the same experiences.
Beyond the classroom
When I am not teaching, you will likely find me on a golf course or planning my next travel adventure. Romania is such a diverse country in terms of landscapes that I don’t need to drive far to enjoy the sea, sand and snow!
