Qualified Teacher Status (Romania). Master’s in Literature, Film and Cultural Studies, with 2 years of teaching experience in Romania and 6 years of working in a multicultural environment.
At Questfield
I joined Questfield International College in 2024, first as a Teaching Assistant, and I was delighted to also serve as the Class Teacher for Pregătitoare during the 2025–2026 academic year. Since September 2024, I have also been teaching English. My focus is on encouraging students to learn through curiosity and exploration, while ensuring they always feel safe, supported, and comfortable being themselves.
My approach
As an English teacher in an international school, my approach centres on fostering curiosity as the primary engine for language acquisition. I prioritise a student-led environment where asking questions is more valuable than rote memorisation. By planning lessons around students’ inquiries, I ensure that communicative functions, such as requesting information about the world, are rooted in their genuine interests. This inquiry-based method transforms the classroom into a space of active exploration, where every lesson is an adaptive response to the learners’ natural desire to understand their global environment.
Beyond the classroom
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy listening to music, baking with my sons or playing in the park with them. I also love reading to and with them.
