Qualified Teacher Status (UK, Canada), Master’s in Educational Leadership, with 17 years of teaching experience in public and private schools in Canada, Chile, and Romania.
At Questfield
I joined Questfield International College in 2025 as a science teacher, and now I am excited to step into the role of Head of STEAM for the 2026-2027 school year. My focus is on building lasting relationships, along with providing an environment that promotes risk-taking for both staff and students.
My approach
Teaching for me is based on relationships. As a teacher, my role is to find connections between the material and students’ lives, interests and goals. Students should learn that making deep connections is what generates learning, not being the first one to answer.
Classrooms should be a dynamic environment where students learn with each other, bounce ideas out, make mistakes and grow. There should be places where students feel accepted while also driving to push themselves to achieve their best.
Beyond the classroom
Physical activity is very important for me; I enjoy long-distance running, basketball and many other activities.
